形態特徵

• Rhizomes long-creeping, about 1 cm thick, densely covered with large, loose, brown, opaque scales, the margins irregular, erose or with scattered widely spreading arms.
• Fronds distant, dimorphic; stipes of sterile fronds 12-30 cm long, stramineous, grooved above; juvenile fronds with scaly stipes 2-5 cm long and simple, narrowly lanceolate laminae 15-40 cm long, 10-16 mm wide, acute at apex, narrowly cuneate at base, entire and narrowly reflexed on margin, with prominent midribs, sometimes sparingly scaly, the lateral veins many, prominent, wide diverging, straight, a few once forked, reaching the margin; slightly older sterile fronds with one pair of lateral pinnae; mature fronds with 3-14 pairs of lateral pinnae, rather distant on the more or less scaly and narrowly winged rachises, short petiolulate, narrowly lanceolate, 15-18 cm long, 15 mm wide, acuminate at apex, cuneate at base, entire or slightly undulate on margin, glabrous on both surfaces; lateral pinnae articulate, but the terminal pinna not articulate to rachis.
• Fertile fronds similar to the sterile but the pinnae much constricted and very narrow, about 15 cm long, 3 mm wide; stipes of mature fertile fronds 20-30 cm long.
• Sori acrostichoid.

分布

• 台灣 : A rare mountain epiphyte or lithophyte, growing on tree trunks.
• 世界 : the Ryukyus, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sumatra, Borneo and Java.
